TAG Heuer has always been close to the world of automotive and automobile racing. The company underlined its presence in this field in 1963, when the founder's grandson Jack Heuer introduced the new Carrera line, inspired by the legendary Carrera Panamericana race.
After a great deal of consultation with racers, a simple and purpose-built design has emerged that has immediately become an icon around the world, opening the door to auto-moto sports. Currently, Carrera is the core pillar of TAG Heuer's portfolio. New technologies and High Tech materials bring this collection to a much wider range of customers. But still with the emphasis on the strong roots and DNA that defined Carrera in its birth in the second half of the 20th century.
